Thank you everyone for looking at my blog! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!! I wasn't even expecting this! Here's to 500 more!

I Don't own this picture.... Please don't sue me....

A bit about my upcoming reviews

Okay, I deeply apoligize for the lack of updates and reviews! Life is starting to slow down a bit so hopefully I'll get more free time soon to finish Nana and get to all the other anime so I can dish out more epic anime reviews for you!

For the time being though, I'll be reviewing Yu Yu Hakusho. If you remember from my about me post, this is my ALL TIME FAVORITE, which is why I've been holding out on reviewing it.

I do own all four seasons on DVD so it'll be easier for me to watch it all faster then if I were watching it online. Saves me time on going throughout dozens of free anime viewing sites online (I do recommend though if anyone needs a great site. It even works on smartphones! Plus it's 100% free! I use it when I can on my iPhone.)

I'll be doing one season at a time (Twenty-eight episodes a season for a total of one hundred and twelve in total). I'll probably be dusting up on a few episodes tonight or in the morning if I can, so you'll probably be getting a new review by midday or early evening tomorrow!

Well that's all I really got to say right now... WAIT! I forgot to mention something!

I have this app that I LOVE!!! It's called Geeking (previously GeekChat). It's completely free and currently on the iPhone, iPod, and iPad and supposedly coming soon for andriod. It's a fun place for geeks and nerds to come together and discuss their loves, fandom, interests, and games! There's roleplaying too! It's chatroom style and you can make your own discussions whenever you want! And if you're already on it, hit me up! I'm Baltigoa M. if you want to look! Talk to me about anything!

I'm not getting paid for this, nor do I want to, I just want to introduce you all to a lovely place to meet new people who are into what your into! Now please go about your day and enjoy the world!

With Love~

Nana Anime Review (SPECIAL PREVIEW)

Keep in mind that NANA IS NOT MEANT FOR AUDIENCES UNDER 17-18!!! It contains drugs, sexual situations, sexual content, nudity and many other things not for children! You have been WARNED!
I may make references to the manga, but remember this isn't the entire review and it might change as I watch more. Please enjoy this review~!

Okay to start out; let’s talk about the voice acting. I love the choice in voice actors for this anime especially that of Nana Osaka (Nana), it’s exactly what I imagined for the sexy lead singer. And Ren’s voice actor gave him the perfect swoon-worthy voice he needed! The one voice I really hate is that of Nana Komatsu (Hachi). I know she’s supposed to be the giddy girly girl, but having such a high voice really isn’t necessary to get that point across. I also have a slight dislike for the voice of Takumi. I don’t really have any particular reason, I just don’t like it. All other characters are voiced pretty well.

So that’s a small preview of my review of Nana. Sorry it’s so short but I’ll add more for each week I’m delayed, alright!

With love~

                             Tyler <3

Sorry guys!

My schedule is starting to get a bit hectic now that school started last Monday (Go Seniors!). I won't be able to watch as much anime as I'd like, so in turn, the amount of reviews I can do will decrease. So today I decided to do a small 'preview' of my review of the anime Nana. I haven't finished the anime yet, but I'm at about episode 25 or so; and I've read the manga up to volume 20. Keep in mind that NANA IS NOT MEANT FOR AUDIENCES UNDER 17-18!!! It contains drugs, sexual situations, sexual content, nudity, underaged prostitution and many other things not for children! You have been WARNED! Do not let this turn you away though. The manga was the #1 selling shoujo manga in Japan and had two magnificent live-action movies released!

Now allow me to stop babbling and start this review!

With Love~

Say "I Love You" Review

I rarely watch subtitled anime (I have reasons) but ‘Say “I Love You”’ is one of few anime that I’ve actually bothered to watch subbed before it came out in English.

So to get started let’s go with my biggest pet peeve with the English dub, Mei Tachibana’s voice. They chose a far too girly voice of Mei and I feel it betrays her character a bit. The other voices were pretty good in my book, especially that of Yamato Kurosawa. His voice was pretty much what I dreamed of it to be.

The animation is fairly good and it’s easily watchable. Not much to say on the animation with this one…

Now the best for last, the Plot. This is one of my top 5 favorite anime for quite a few reasons. The story line and the characters are very easy to relate to. This plot deals with many of the teenage insecurities. Weight problems, anorexia, bullying, betrayal, self-confidence and self-esteem, being yourself, popularity and romance. Say “I Love You” deals with it all. This anime is a beautiful slice of life that anyone can relate to.

Another reason this anime is one of my favorites is the character interaction and development. No one in this anime goes without character development. And it doesn’t just happen, you get to watch them realize their true feelings and find themselves.

I have to give two reviews for this, the English dub and the English sub. The dub gets a pretty high 4.5 out of 5 mainly due to Mei’s English voice actor. The English sub gets a perfect score of 5 out of 5.

Space Pirate Captain Harlock/ Harlock: Space Captain (Special Movie Review!)

I found this gorgeous little gem of a movie on Netflix over the weekend and watched it because I was bored and home alone for five hours. I liked from the very start and decided to give it a little review for you guys! (On Netflix the title is "Harlock: Space Captain" for some reason...).

Let’s start with the animation. The details were mind-bending to a point where in some frames, everything looks almost real… Everyone, from the raggedy space crew to the handsome Harlock to the gorgeous alien woman Mimay, is beautifully detailed and well animated.

The voice acting was quite on point. I nearly fell in love with Harlock from just his voice alone. I looked up his voice actor, David Matranga, and was pleasantly surprised that he voices Bertholdt Hoover in the Attack on Titan dub!

The plot… Oh lordy the plot. There’s a lot of things that you need to remember from the opening narration, although it gets repeated probably a bit more often than necessary. We learn quite early on where almost everyone stands. The plot somewhat ebs and flows throughout the movie and there’s some pretty major plot twists later on! I think the plot was thought out pretty well and not just hashed together.

All in all, it gets 5 out of 5 from me and has officially become my favorite animation.

~With Love,

                               Tyler H.

So today...

I'm not gonna lie, I've been lazy in trying to get up new reviews and I'm sorry. So today, I have a goal of  three reviews! Including a special one not in the list!

So today, look forward to:

  • Harlock: Space Pirate
  • Say "I Love You"
  • Black Rock Shooter OVA

I hope you enjoy them all and look forward to them!

Angel Beats Review

Okay, so here's my next review! I'm sure most of you have watched this, or have at least heard of it, but it's Angel Beats.
First off, I loved this anime to pieces, makes me cry every time.
The animation is top notch and each character is brilliantly designed! The voice actors were definitely well chosen for each character. Even those who aren’t very partial to dubs would love this one!
There’s not many negatives that come to mind when I think of this anime, but if I had to choose one it’d be that I wish they’d spend more time on the back stories of the other characters! They never even really tell us how most of the characters died, but hints are given for a few… The anime leaves a lot of things a mystery.
Each character is highly unique and has their own very special personality.
All in all I give it 4/5.
Well that’s all for now!
~With Love,

                               Tyler H.
(PS I highly suggest reading the manga! Lots of back stories for a lot of the characters and tells how the SSS started! It's called "Heavens Door".)

Pairing Analysis: Jean/Marco

Okay first off, Marco is dead... Some people can't seem to accept that. Marco is dead, six feet under, bitten in half... DEAL WITH IT! We're all shipping Necrophilia!

Jean... Jean is a butthole by nature, there's no getting around it. I'm sorry if you don't agree, butt this is the truth. He only "gains feelings" after Marco dies, and I'm still unsure if it's for anyone other than him and Marco...

These two boys do look great together but I feel like Jean is most certainly straight, Marco, eh not so much... I feel like Marco is bisexual.

I don't really know what else to say so I'll just give you guys tear-inducing Marco Pics!

Please Comment and give me suggestions on what to do for this. Sorry if I made you cry.

Hey guys!
So sorry about the delay in posting, I've been busy with Drivers Ed classes.
I'm gonna try and get more stuff up soon but the review for episodes 1-16 of Nana will be pushed back until at least August. I'm trying to post more pictures and AMV's as well so please keep supporting my blog through this delay.

OK, instead of doing Devil May Cry next, as stated in Kill la Kill Review Episodes 13-24, I'll be doing the anime Nana. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Also I've decided to start doing analyses of popular pairing! First up will be either JeanxMarco from Attack on Titan or GajeelxLevy from Fairy Tail.

Kill la Kill Review Episodes 13-24

Just minutes ago, I finished this anime. I wish I could I'd take back my entire first review!

This is probably one of the best anime I've ever seen! I went into these episodes with no hope for a legitimate plot line, but it hit me straight in the face.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, reached bad*ss levels achieved by no others! Character growth galore! Especially for Ryuko and Satsuki.

Once you get past the choppy animation and migraine inducing sounds, it becomes a great anime. There were plot twists galore in this half of the show! Some that surprised even me! Talk about mommy and daddy issues!

This will be an anime I recommend to everyone, except the faint of heart.

In the end I can only give it 4.5/5 due to the fact that it took  so long to get the plot started.

I wish i can be more detailed but I'm already on the verge of giving out major spoilers!

(Next up, Devil May Cry)

Yay! Kill la Kill Funnies!!

I Own Nothing!!!! I warn you there are curse words and indecent attire in this picks!!!!!

Kill La Kill Episodes 1-12 Review

Good morning/afternoon/evening everybody! Here's my third anime review!

Okay to start us off, I've been trying to find a legitimate plot line for twelve episodes, but there doesn't really seem to be one. The animation is choppy and a bit jagged and the voices are loud. This is almost migraine inducing when watching for long periods of times.

The main characters, Ryuko Matoi and Satsuki Kiyuin, are bad*ss but way too overly sexualized. The side characters are hilarious, and each have their own comedic personality, especially Ryuko's best friend Mako Mankanshoku. The jokes are highly sex and nudity based and are funny but crude all the same.

The anime's fight scenes are very well done, but are far too often too short.

Overall it's a great anime, but due to flaws, I only give it a 3/5 stars.

Well that's all. I'd love suggestions on anime to review!

A bit about me!

Hello, to start off Day 2 of my blog, I've decided to tell you guys a bit about myself!

My name is Tyler if you haven't figured it out, and I'm a huge fan of anime and manga.
My favorite anime is definitely Yu Yu Hakusho. Least favorite anime is a three way tie between Naruto, One Piece, and Dragon Ball Z.

I'm not huge into Vocaloid and J-Pop isn't my thing, but i do listen to a wide range of American, British, and Canadian artists. I do like a couple of Vocaloid songs though, including "Six Trillion Years and An Overnight Story", "Baka Baka Baka", and "Romeo and Cinderella". I DESPISE JUSTIN BIEBER! One Direction has good songs but I'm not really into them.

Manga I've enjoyed are Stray Love Hearts (SLH), Fruits Basket, Loveless, D. Gray-Man, Rurouni Kenshin, Wild Act, Nana, Fushigi Yugi and Fushigi Yugi: Genbu Kaiden.

I enjoy reading Young Adult fiction novels. My favorites are the Hush, Hush Saga by Becca Fitzpatrick, White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout, The Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr, The Ruby Red Trilogy Kerstin Gier, Angelfall by Susan Ee, The Steampunk Chronicles by Kady Cross, and The Iron Witch by Karen Mahoney.

Well that's all for now! If you have any questions about the books, manga, or anime I've mention feel free to email me at! Just use the subject "Blog" so I don't accidentally look over it! Thanks for reading! My next review will be on the first 12 episodes of the new anime Kill Al Kill!

~With Love,
                               Tyler H.

(P.S. Comments and suggestions are highly appreciated!)
